It was a brilliant weekend for our adult teams with two big league victories. This morning, our ladies’ team put in a great performance to beat Crosserlough. Our first half performance was particularly impressive, leaving us with a comfortable half time lead. While Crosserlough rallied in the second half and fought back well, we were able to get some crucial goals to ease to victory. Final score: Killinkere 7-9 Crosserlough 3-12.

Yesterday evening, our men’s team had another good win in the league, beating Drumalee 4-11 to 3-10. Aside from the first score of the game, the lads led from start to finish and looked particularly dangerous up front, scoring some great team goals.

There is a break for the Cavan game in the men’s league next weekend, while our ladies will face Crosserlough once again on Sunday; this time in the Spring League.
