It’s one thing to have Vera Pauw and all the national media singing your praises but, as every Cavan person knows, you haven’t truly made it until you get into the Celt! Huge congratulations to Sinéad Farrelly on making her Ireland debut on Saturday night against the USA.
As the Celt explains, “Born and raised in Haverstown, Pennsylvania, Sinéad is a daughter of Killinkere man, Seán Farrelly, a former Gaelic footballer with the Killinkere club.”
As Sinéad was getting ready for the friendly against the USA, her first cousins, Mark and James, were helping Killinkere to a league win over Butlersbridge. It’s a special moment for the club to see all three of them featured in the Celt this week. Well done Sinéad and we’re looking forward to seeing more of you in a green jersey!
