We are joining the online bingo craze!
From next Friday 5th March we will be running weekly online bingo via zoom. Bingo books are on sale now
While this is a club fundraiser we are really keen to promote the social aspect of this too. If you know of someone who would enjoy the opportunity to play online bingo please let them know.
Players will receive an E-Mail with your purchased Bingo Book(s) attached. In that E-Mail there will be a Zoom link for you to click on to log you into the online event and the game by game number calling. These will be sent to you separately by our bingo organiser via E-mail to all participants prior to the start of the event at 8:00pm every Friday , (Zoom connection will be open from 7:30pm).
We advise that your book is purchased prior to 2pm on Thursday to ensure you receive it in time for printing.
You will have to be connected to the Internet on a PC or other device such as a Tablet, iPad, Smart Phone. (Apple or Android).
***It is best if you can print out your bingo card and circle the numbers as they are called out.
If you do not have a printer:
· Suggestion 1: Copy the bingo card using pen and paper. Write out the bingo numbers as they appear on your individual bingo card. Then mark off circling the numbers.
· Suggestion 2: Using a smartphone or tablet, take a screen shot of your bingo ticket and save it to your photos. You can then mark the numbers on your device.
We will use software called “Play & Check” which the host or caller shares with the players at the session. We will do this using the “share screen” function on Zoom. The sophisticated software is able to notify us immediately when there is a winner while the numbers are being called. The winning bingo book serial number is then checked on the software & the game continues.
The details of all winners will be taken on the night. The following day we will be in contact with the list of winners to determine the best method of electronic transfer of your winnings
