This year the Killinkere Senior team are raising money for a cause very close to our hearts. Sudden Adult Death Syndrome is a condition that has taken the lives of many fit and active young people in Ireland. We thought it would be best to organise a fundraiser to raise much needed funds and awareness.
The lads on the Killinkere senior team will be attempting to grow moustaches over the month of November (a massive challenge for many) with all proceeds going towards CRY Ireland.
Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is a charity that is focused on raising awareness about Sudden Adult Death Syndrome and using the funds raised to offer free counselling services and support for people affected and a free screening service at Tallaght, Dublin 24. Families from all over Ireland come to the centre for screening.
