Everything that is great about our club and community was on show in the sun at Killinkere today!

Coaches organised an in-house tournament for the the u9 and u11 boys squads with 6 very competitive and evenly matched teams playing three games each. Some games matched brother against brother or cousin against cousin and nobody wanted to concede an inch.

Senior team players managed the teams and brought their competitive spirit with them too! Older juvenile players did a great job refereeing the games (despite gentle heckling from some managers........no names mentioned).

Sincere thanks to all players, parents coaches, referees and senior players who made it such a great afternoon of fun for all. Round 2 takes place next Sunday afternoon and its not too late to get involved. Any of the u9/11 boys who couldn't make it today are very welcome to join in next week.
