It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Pat (PJ) Clarke. The thoughts and prayers of club members are with Sarah, Morgane, Rachel, Seán, Rory; PJ's granddaughter, Mollie; sister, Mary, and his extended family and friends.

PJ was a wonderful person, a friend to all and a great ambassador for our club. He served for many years as club secretary, was an active committee member, as club registrar, and a trusted voice in all areas. PJ was an accomplished umpire at club and national level and a current officer of the CCC for Cavan County Board. The community is heartbroken by his sudden passing.

PJ will be reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Thursday 2nd May from 4pm to 8pm.

PJ’s Funeral mass will be held in St. Mary's Church, Clanaphilip on Friday arriving for 11 o'clock funeral mass. There will be a guard of honour before his funeral mass on Friday morning. Club members available for the guard of honour are asked to meet at Tierney’s/Termon Cross at 10:30am on Friday morning. If you can, please wear club colours. We will be walking alongside PJ from Termon Cross to St Mary's Chapel. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis..
